Meera Mukundan is a well known writer among Pisharodies through her various works which got published in Malayalam in Thulaseedalam.
Meera born and brought up in Mumbai was a budding writer in English and had secured many prizes in English Poem writing.
Born to Thrissur Kizhakke Pisharath Balakrishna Pisharody and Pulamanthol Pisharath Malathi Pisharasiar, had a special appetite for malayalam works, by which she could read many famous writers through the Library of Kerala samajam, Matunga.
In 1984 she joined Canara Bank, Thane branch and started to write in their House magazine “Shreyas” and won many accolades for best stories. In 1994 she got married to Mukundan and reached Palakkad and written many stories, which got published as a book named “Sandramounam”. Later another book named “Akashapparavakal” also got published.
