Mrs Sowmya Balagopal, (Distinguished dancer, teacher and choreographer) will receive the prestigious award in connection with 19th Devdasi International Festival to be held at Bhubaneswar, Orissa on 29th and 30th December, 2025.

She is daughter of Anayath Pisharath Jayaraj and Cherukad Pisharath Sathi Jayaraj (members of Ernakulam Sakha) residing at Thrippunithura.
