She is daughter of famous Kathakali artiste RLV Damodara Pisharody and currently working as Junior Lecturer and head of the department of mohiniyattam at RLV College of Music and Fine Arts.
She started her Mohiniyattam training under Natyakalaratnam Kala Vijayan, who is the daughter of Kalyanikuttiyamma.
She is a first rank holder throughout her BA and MA days at her Alma mater RLV College, and M Phil at Kerala Kalamandalam.
